Is this an adult only event ? We highly recommend Femme Fatale as a 18 and over event. However the Hobart venue is at the Playhouse Theatre which is not a bar or club, therefore as long as no alcohol is consumed under 18s will be permitted. We strongly recommend the show for an 18 and over audience as it contains adult themes, tasteful nudity (usually pasties and g-string) and some coarse language. We recommend that anyone under 18 is accompanied by a parent or guardian. 2. What time does the show start? The show will start at 8.30pm. However doors will open at 8pm to allow time to have a drink and mingle with our roving performers. 3. How do I book my tickets Tickets will be sold via Trybooking.com and links will be posted on Facebook and on the Miss Kitty’s Meow website. The booking system is fairly straightfoward. Simply click on the session you want to attend (Friday or Saturday night), select the tickets you wish to purchase and reserve your seat. Seating is assigned so you will be able to select your own seats as normal. When you have completed the transaction please print a copy of your booking confirmation. This is your ticket for the night. Simply bring it with you on the night and our delightful ushers will show you to your seats. If you lose or forget your ticket, don’t panic. We will have a booking list of everyone that has pre booked. In this instance just bring your ID on the night, let one of the ushers know and they will show you (and your group if you are booking in a group) to your seats. Yes. The Playhouse Theatre has a bar that serves wine, beer and soft drinks. They also have some nibbles availbale (chocolate bars, peanuts etc). If you are after a substantial meal before the show the New Sydney Hotel is always popular and is close by. Other nearby eateries are the Mercure Hotel, Tandoor Curry House. Shamrock Hotel and Ethos. 6. Why are ticket prices more expensive than previous years? Miss Kitty’s Meow always aims to offer quality entertainment at the best value prices. Our prices are on par with other States and Territories. Comparatively our prices are higher than previous shows at the Playhouse Theatre simply due to increased costs for the venue. We also have to accommodate interstate performers and pay our local artists, backstage helpers, front of house staff and more. We also accommodate interstate performers. Concessions are valid for: Student Card Holders, Concession or Health Care Card Holders, Low Income Card Holders and Seniors. How do I purchase tickets? To save you $$$ on booking fees our preferred ticket provider is Try Booking. They charge a measly 30 cent booking fee (compared to $6 from other providers!). Trybooking accept only credit card payments at this stage. Miss Kitty’s Meow may be able to take cash or direct debit payments from anyone wanting to prebook without a credit or visa-debit card. Drop us an email at burlesque@misskittysmeow.com if you have any problems When you book through trybooking you will be prompted to print out your ticket, which will contain your name and booking details. Please bring this print out to the venue as your ‘ticket’ or proof of entry. Miss Kitty’s Meow will have a full list of all pre bookings in case you lose your ticket or forget to bring it on the night. However to ensure everyone is seated speedily we recommend that you bring your copy with you. 3. What time does the show start? The show will start at 8.30pm.
